Meet Dr. Tori
Dr. Victoria Bosse, LMFT dedicated the first 20 years of her career to behavioral health nonprofits and educational institutions. After providing home-based therapy for many years, she converted to exclusively telehealth in March 2018, long before the COVID pandemic brought it to the mainstream. Telehealth allows her to work with you from the comfort and privacy of your home, via a HIPAA-secure platform.
Growing up in Connecticut, Dr. Tori graduated from UConn with both a Bachelor’s (2001, Human Development & Family Studies) and Master’s (2003, Marriage & Family Therapy) degree. After working two years, she moved to San Diego to pursue her Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) in Marriage & Family Therapy from Alliant International University. Over the years, she focused much of her time clinically providing services in people’s homes. She realized, in part through making it the subject of her dissertation, that providing couple and family therapy as a home-based treatment was more beneficial than in an office.
Since 2023, Dr. Tori has grown her practice in a way that allowed her the flexibility of being able to return to people’s homes again. While the majority of her sessions are via telehealth, she is thrilled to offer intensive, home-based sessions for up to four hours.
Starting in 2013, Dr. Tori spent 8 years teaching undergraduate Human Services at Post University. She found so much joy in shaping the next generation of therapists and counselors. While no longer teaching, she continues to mentor other therapists in the field of Family Therapy or Mental Health Counseling.
Most importantly, when you sit with Dr. Tori – for therapy, supervision, or consultation – she strives to create a safe space for you, your family, or your organization to grow. Through an attachment-based lens, she will lean into vulnerability with you.
